Volunteering:
We are always looking for dedicated members and volunteers to help. Some of the activities and events that we can always use help are as follows:
- People to walk dogs and play with the cats & kittens
- Volunteers to help clean the shelter and help with maintenance
- Assist at adoption events
- People to work at fundraising and fundraising events
- Someone to assist in writing and mailing of the newsletter
- Become a foster parent
If you can help with any of these activities, please call or e-mail the shelter CLICK HERE. Your help would be most appreciated! A yearly membership is $15 for an individual, $35 for a family, or $100 for an individual lifetime membership. We have a General Membership Meeting every 3rd Wednesday of the month at the Cuivre River Electric Building at 7:00pm. Everyone is welcome at these meetings even if you are not a member. At these meetings we discuss shelter concerns, fundraisers, and other activities. 100% of your membership fee goes towards animal care.
Donations:
All of our operating expenses, vet services, building maintenance, food, and shelter supplies come from donations and fundraising activities. We are a certified 501(c)(3) charity so your donation is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Any donation is needed and greatly appreciated.
