Bring Your Pet To An Adoption!

If you are considering adopting a pet as a companion for your pet, very often it's a good idea to bring your pet along. By doing so, you'll be able to better judge how the two pets interact, and maybe eliminate unforeseen problems and poor choices! Pets on leashes are always welcome at our adoption events. Your pet will love the outing, the quality time spent with you, and a chance to socialize with other pets! This is also a good way to re-enforce good social behavior in public, in your pet!

Adoption Fees

Our adoption fee for dogs is $130.00 and cats is $110.00, regardless of whether the pet is a pure breed or a mixed breed. All of our pets are Vet checked for health, spayed or neutered, wormed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations. Dogs are tested for heartworm, treated if necessary, and placed on preventative. Cats are tested for Feline Leukemia. All injured pets receive any treatment or surgery needed to restore them back to good health!

We believe this is a bargain price for a pet.  If you check the cost of these services with your Vet and add that  to the cost of a pet from a breeder, you too will agree!

To adopt a pet from PALS or for more information on one of our pets, visit us at the shelter or call us at 636-338-1818. We do ask potential adopters to first complete a pre-adoption form, for the purpose of ensuring your compatibility with a pet, as well as your eligibility to adopt a pet. After the pre-adoption form is reviewed and approved, we require adopters to complete an adoption contract. We do not discriminate against anyone for reasons of race, religion, age, politics, gender, or sexual orientation; but we do reserve the right to refuse adoptions based on the information we interpret from these forms, with regard to legalities, and the pet's needs or requirements. We try very hard to make every adoption, a happy and satisfactory one!
